Meet the Cast: Christine Tucker (TARA)
Christine Tucker is a proud Texan from Sugar Land and received her BFA in Musical Theatre at Texas State University- San Marcos, studying under Kaitlin Hopkins. She has recently joined The Manhattan Dolls, a swing-style female trio. And before moving to NYC she had the privilege to work regionally in the Austin area playing at the ZACH Theatre as PENNY in Hairspray as well the famous outdoor Zilker Hillside Theater as ZANEETA in The Music Man. Some of her other favorite shows include MISS SANDRA in All Shook Up and had the great opportunity to be DANCE CAPTAIN of Andrew Lippa’s The Wild Party. While she wasn’t doing musical theatre, she loved making solo appearances at the Houston Rockets’ Basketball games, being featured on the nationally televised Houston v. Lakers game, and singing with an a capella jazz group, Vocal Libre, where she performed throughout Central Texas. She is beyond excited to have the chance to work on such an original show and create this character for the first time!
